Les Ferme de Marie

We’ve reserved the entire Hotel Les Fermes de Marie for our wedding weekend in Megève so that we can all be together and make the most of the celebrations. It’s right in the heart of town and will be our base for the weekend’s events.

We can’t wait to fill the hotel with our favorite people, it’s going to feel like one big house party in the mountains!

If the hotel becomes fully booked, there are many wonderful alternative accommodations in town, including nearby hotels and private rentals such as Airbnbs, all within easy walking distance or a short drive.

The nearest airport to Megève is Geneva Airport (GVA), which has regular direct flights from many major cities. Megève is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the airport by car.

If you would like to arrange a transfer from Geneva Airport to the hotel, we invite you to contact the hotel’s events team at concierge@fermesdemarie.com. They will be happy to assist with coordinating transportation and answering any related questions. If you prefer to have your own flexibility, you can also rent a car directly at the airport.

If you’re planning to rent a car, it’s helpful to know that you can hire from either the Swiss side or the French side of Geneva airport. Both are easily accessible. When you first exit from baggage claim, you will be on the Swiss side.

If you choose a car on the French side, simply follow the signs to the “French Sector” within the airport, where the French car rental desks are located. The route is clearly marked, and airport staff are happy to assist with directions if needed.
